Hobo Radio 493 – Basically, your life is f@#$ed if you win the lottery

This week, Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle reveal what they would do if they won the record-high Mega Millions lottery jackpot. Joel would completely drop of the grid, while Lars would prepare to inevitably be murdered by a family member.

They also discuss how celebrities are aging better than they used to, Joel lobbies for Stone Cold Steve Austin to show up on The Good Place and they do a Superman-themed MadLibs.

Why are you more likely to be murdered by a family member if you win the lottery? How are Joel and Lars coping with the loss of Iron Fist? Is there a 50 percent chance of rain tomorrow? The answers to these questions and more are on this week’s show.

Hobo Radio 371 – Tina Belcher is my spirit animal

As you can see below, this year for Halloween, Lars Periwinkle went as Tina Belcher. And he quickly found he wasn’t the only Tina in town.

Joel Murphy and Lars both recap their Halloweens. They also discuss our obsession with bleak television shows like The Leftovers and The Walking Dead, spotlight a character actor you should know and question Star Wars’ decision to have officially-licensed apples. They also do another MadLib.

What’s the point of a never-ending zombie apocalypse? Does slapping Darth Vader on apples help sales? Are the guys capable of doing “adult” MadLibs? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s podcast.

Hobo Radio 282 – Stop saying selfies

This week, the world said goodbye to a truly great man – Nelson Mandela. His funeral, however, was slightly overshadowed by two strange developments – the fact that the sign language interpreter was signing gibberish and the fact that our President took a selfie with the lovely Danish prime minster. Joel Murphy and Lars share their thoughts on the passing of Mandela. They also talk about Obama and the translator. Though they are mostly just upset that the word “selfie” has become so popular.

The duo also discuss Joel’s recent weight loss and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. And they do another round of MadLibs.

Is it okay to snap selfies at a funeral? Who is that mystery man next to the Danish prime minister? What is going on with Joel’s hair? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s podcast.

Hobo Radio 279 – The Death Pube

No one would ever accuse Joel Murphy and Lars of being mature, but this week their immaturity reaches new heights as they partake in a Star Wars Madlibs. The two absolutely lose it as they throw every naughty word they can fathom into the blanks.

On a more serious note, Murphy is beginning to get concerned after two familiar people followed him on Twitter this week. And the dynamic duo also discuss Bill Cosby’s new comedy special, Jon Oliver’s plans to leave The Daily Show and what FAST actually stood for.

Who will fill Jon Oliver’s shoes? Does Bill Cosby still have it? How hard will these two morons laugh at their Madlibs? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s podcast.
