Joel Murphy and Andy McIntyre watch maligned movies and find their silver linings. For the month of January, in honor of Spider-man: No Way Home, they are watching maligned Spider-man films.
Joel and Andy close out the month with the 24-minute Japanese film スパイダーマン, which premiered at the Toei Manga Matsuri film festival on July 22, 1978. A tie-in with the Japanese Spider-man TV show, the film features giant robots, aliens and a kick-ass theme song.
Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle were inevitably going to spend an hour talking to each other about Spider-man: No Way Home, so they decided to record that conversation and share it with everyone else. In this spoiler-filled discussion, they discuss all of the cameos and surprises, the film’s ending and what might come next for the MCU.
This week’s music:
Intro – “Giddy Up” by Tahuna Breaks
End – “Spider-man Theme (Jazz Cover)” by MotionAmp
