Silver Linings Playback 29 – The Way of the Gun

Joel Murphy and Andy McIntyre watch maligned movies and find their silver linings. For the month of November, they are watching heist films.

This week, they watch Christopher McQuarrie’s 2000 caper film The Way of the Gun. McQuarrie found early success in Hollywood as the writer of The Usual Suspects. And he has since gone on to have success more recently with his work on the Mission: Impossible franchise. But The Way of the Gun, his directorial debut, was poorly received by audiences and critics.

Theme Song: “Bankin’” by Bronson Scott
