Hobo Radio 396 – The salad days

Joel Murphy is feeling a bit under the weather, but that’s not stopping him from soldiering on with Lars Periwinkle on an all-new episode.

The two look at the origins of the phrase “the salad days,” Joel’s fiancé’s love of true crime dramas and the latest drama surrounding the Ghostbusters remake. They also update their definitive Marvel Cinematic Universe movie rankings.

Where does the phrase “salad days” come from? Is Joel really telling people to go outside? Is Lars finally ready to move down Ant-Man? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s podcast.

This week’s music:

  • Intro – “Giddy Up” by Tahuna Breaks
  • End – “Watermelon Land and Marmalade Crossbow” by Maxim Kornyshev

Continuing that tradition, this season he will be appearing on the hilarious animated spy show Archer.
