Hobo Radio Interview – FBoy Island’s Sarah Emig

On the final episode of HBO Max’s dating show FBoy Island, Sarah Emig rolled the dice and chose self-proclaimed “F-boy” Garrett Morosky over “Nice Guy” Josh McDonald. Garrett immediately betrayed Sarah and kept an $100,000 payout all to himself instead of splitting with her.

We caught up with Emig recently to see how she’s feeling after the shocking finale, how she ended up on FBoy Island in the first place and how CJ Franco, Nakia Renee and Nikki Glaser helped her through this unique dating experience.

  • Interstitial – “Vishnu Meets Funk” and “Ancient Ritual” by Lucas Perný & Miloslav Kollar

Hobo Radio Interview – Remembering Michael K. Williams

When HoboTrashcan.com launched on August 23, 2005, it included an interview with Michael K. Williams. That interview, which was in-depth and candid, set the tone for every interview to come.

Joel Murphy recently opened up on Twitter to talk about why that moment was so special:

He and Lars talk more about the interview and Williams’ career in general on this special episode of Hobo Radio. They also share the audio from the second interview Murphy conducted with Michael K. Williams in 2006.

[You can find the original print versions of our two interviews here and here.]

Hobo Radio Interview – Joel Soisson

From producing Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure to writing a MadLibs-style script using preexisting Skeet Ulrich footage, Joel Soisson has done it all in Hollywood.

After years of making a living writing horror sequels like Hellraiser: Hellword and Children of the Corn: Runaway, he’s written and directed something completely different: My Best Worst Adventure; the story of an American teen sent to live with her grandmother in Thailand.

We were delighted to sit down and chat with this brilliant filmmaker respected and revered by millions (and we promise we’re not just saying that so that he can pull the quote for his Wikipedia page).
