Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle return to one of their favorite subjects: Star Wars. They discuss the rumor of a Donald Glover Disney+ Lando series and look at what the future may hold for the franchise.

The dynamic duo also talks about two new streaming movies – The Old Guard and Palm Springs. And they spend some time appreciating Bill Paxton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Willem Dafoe and Alfre Woodard.

Once again, Joel Murphy and Andy McIntyre are rewatching a maligned film in hopes of finding a silver lining. They are finishing out the month of May with Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, the final chapter in what has been dubbed the Skywalker Saga.

Joel is fired up this week. As listeners of Hobo Radio may remember, he was not a fan of this film when it was originally released (you can hear that episode here) and his opinion hasn’t softened on his second viewing. He and Andy vent their frustrations with Rise of Skywalker and then, miraculously, find its silver lining.

All bad films have a silver lining.

At least, that’s the theory Joel Murphy and Andy McIntyre are hoping to prove in this new podcast. Murphy and McIntyre are revisiting maligned films and seeing what good they can find in them.

In their third episode, they are continuing to revisit the Star Wars prequels. This time, it’s Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, which Joel enjoys considerably more than Andy does. However, together they will find a silver lining.

In their second episode, they are continuing to revisit the Star Wars prequels. This time, it’s Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, which they both agree is the worst of the prequels. However, together they will find a silver lining.

In their first episode, in honor of May the 4th, they are rewatching the first of George Lucas’ prequel films, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Andy maintains that it is somewhat unfairly disliked by Star Wars fans. Joel isn’t so sure. But together, they will find the film’s silver lining.
