Joel and Andy end the month with the sequel to one of the all-time great Christmas movies (and yes, Die Hard is a Christmas movie!), Die Harder. The plot is somehow simultaneously a rehash of the first film and overly complicated and John McClane goes from a regular guy in an impossible situation to an unstoppable killing machine.

Joel Murphy and Andy McIntyre continue their quest to watch maligned movies in hopes of finding a silver lining. For the month of August, they are going deep on unnecessary movie sequels.

This week, Joel and Andy watch A Good Day to Die Hard, the fifth installment in the Die Hard franchise. The film sees John McClane traveling to Russia to help his spy son Jack. It’s an utterly underwhelming and ridiculous addition to the Die Hard canon, but together they will find its silver lining.
