The world lost Isiah Whitlock Jr. over the holidays.

Whitlock was a character actor best known for his role of Senator Clay Davis on The Wire, his many roles in Spike Lee’s films and his signature catchphrase: “Sheeeeeit!”

Joel Murphy interviewed Isiah Whitlock Jr. in 2008 as the final season of The Wire was underway. Today, we bring we the audio from that interview.
