Our annual Mabel Memorial Hobo Madness Tournament is back. This year’s tournament pits characters from 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Better Call Saul, Community, Frasier, Girls, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Parks and Recreation against each other to see who would survive the longest during a global pandemic.
For the Final Four round, Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle are once again joined by Marty McGuire, Andy McIntyre and Julia Periwinkle. We’re down to the Final Four – Niles Crane takes on Mike Ehrmantraut and John Lutz takes on Ron Swanson. But there’s a monkey thrown into the wrench that may tip the scales.
At least, that’s the theory Joel Murphy and Andy McIntyre are hoping to prove in this new podcast. Murphy and McIntyre are revisiting maligned films and seeing what good they can find in them.
In their second episode, they are continuing to revisit the Star Wars prequels. This time, it’s Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, which they both agree is the worst of the prequels. However, together they will find a silver lining.

COVID-19 has disrupted all of our lives. Movies have been delayed. Toilet paper can’t be found. And all major sporting events have been cancelled. But not even the Coronoavirus can stop our annual Mabel Memorial Hobo Madness Tournament.
This year, Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle are joined by Molly Regan, Marty McGuire, Andy McIntyre and, for the first time ever, Julia Periwinkle (Lars’ wife). This year’s tournament pits characters from 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Better Call Saul, Community, Frasier, Girls, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Parks and Recreation against each other to see who would survive the longest during a global pandemic.
This week, they decide the Elite 8 round of the tournament (and get to the bottom of whether or not chips and cheese dip count as nachos).
From deep fried Twinkies to Rochester garbage plates, America is the melting pot of just about anything you can melt in a pot, toss in some hot oil, then smother with some sort of overpowering combo sauce. Instead of assaulting your arteries, we offer the chance to clog your ears with all the best food that will probably kill you. Your gourmonds this month are Matthew Casella, Dorian Gray, Matt Lake, Michael Ridgaway, Ian Salyers, and Allyson Washington.
Once in every generation (if a generation is a year) an episode is born of horror and comedy. This Halloween we are bringing you the Experts of the shared universes of Buffy and Angel! And as usual we leave a smoking hole where the WindUp was by the end of the show! Your Scooby Gang this month around are Brad Bukowsky, Erin Fox, Virginia Lynn, Chris Scarborough, Heiko Spieker, and Cori Summers.
