Hobo Radio Interview – FBoy Island’s Louise Barnard

FBoy Island is a show where three single women mingle with an island full of muscular guys to try to figure out which ones are self-proclaimed nice guys and which are “fboys” pretending to be nice guys.

Louise Barnard chose a self-proclaimed fboy over a nice guy this season. She talks about that decision and her experience on the show.

Hobo Radio Interview – Dani Fernandez

Hobo Radio Interview – Niki Lindroth von Bahr

Niki Lindroth von Bahr makes intricate stop-motion animation films with anthropomorphic animal characters trapped in mundane existences. She uses these characters and worlds to explore deeper themes like loneliness and existentialism while making very silly visual jokes along the way. Her films really resonate in these bleak times we find ourselves in.

We recently spoke to Niki about the process of making these highly-detailed films and how they have been received across the globe.

Hobo Radio Interview – Imperfect directors Regan Linton and Brian Malone

With the Oscars right around the corner and CODA nominated for three Academy Awards, including Best Picture, it’s the perfect time to think about representation and inclusion in Hollywood.

That’s why we’re excited to bring you our recent conversation with Regan Linton and Brian Malone about their documentary Imperfect. The film follows the Phamaly Theatre Company, which is comprised of actors with all nature of disabilities – including spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s Disease, cerebral palsy, autism, low vision/blind, and multiple sclerosis – as they rehearse and perform the musical Chicago.
