Hobo Radio 478 – Googable (ft. Jaisen Waterfall)

Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle are joined by musician and jackfruit expert Jaisen Waterfall (SoundCloud, Instagram), who breaks down his artistic process, talks about his new album in the works and explains why he left LA to record hip hop in Boston. They also discuss the Yanny vs. Laurel debate, the planned Batman Alfred Pennyworth prequel and the rebranding of the Infinity “Gems” from the Marvel comics to Infinity “Stones.”

Yanny or Laurel? Is Jaisen’s mouth an instrument? Will his manager regret this appearance? The answers to these questions and more are on this week’s show.

This week’s music:

  • Intro – “Love & Dubs” by Jaisen Waterfall
  • End – “Bankin'” by Jaisen Waterfall

124-Malört?

What do you do when you hear about a alcohol that is described as tasting like a burnt condom filled with gasoline? You find the closest place they sell it and pick some up. Then you go share it with your friends. We had such and adventure just searching for this elusive Chicagoan drink that we couldn’t wait to try it. This liquor is so packed with flavor we had to have two guests to contain it.

Hobo Radio 477 – Thanos is not a thinker

Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle try to figure out what Thanos’ master plan was when he was lurking in the shadows of the MCU pre-Infinity War. Joel also shares a story of a high school play he directed that completely unraveled (in a very unexpected way) and they both plead with The Rock’s Fast and Furious costars to just relax and let the Dwayne Johnson money train roll in.

What was Thanos’ plan? Do you smell what The Rock is cookin’? You mad, bro? The answers to these questions and more are on this week’s show.

This week’s music:

  • Intro – “Giddy Up” by Tahuna Breaks
  • End – “What Wouldn’t I Do” by Strayfolk
